§ 102-4. Collection of taxes by execution.

  • The collection of taxes within the city may be enforced by execution, signed by the clerk and attested by the mayor, and may be levied by the marshal to the city, who shall advertise and sell the property under the same rules that govern constable's sales, and, if real estate, under the same rules that now govern sheriff's sales.
